“Dakar Dem
Dikk” is Wolof for “Dakar Goes (and) Comes”. These busses (like the majority of
busses in Dakar) are usually crowded. This system is owned and operated by the
Senegalese government making them the sole publicly owned bus system in Dakar. Similar
to the AFTU buses there are different designs which have been put into
circulation.
